What makes it different
Acemate positions the S10 as a “real rally” robot. Cameras and omni-directional wheels let it react to play, move behind the baseline and return standard shots. Its catching frame reduces the usual stop-and-collect rhythm of ball-machine sessions.
That difference is substantial. A traditional machine can create randomized feeds, but it does not know where your return landed. The S10 is designed to respond to that incoming shot.

If your priority is reading a ball and building a rally rather than repeating six programmed targets, the S10 has the clearest case.
Players who hate constant ball pickup
The catching design is intended to keep more balls inside the training loop. That can matter as much as speed during a real 60-minute court booking.
Buyers outside the United States
Acemate lists US and EU plug options and an international warranty. Buyers should still confirm shipping, tax, service logistics and replacement-battery availability before ordering.
Who should skip it
Skip it if you carry the machine up stairs, need a quoted four-to-five-hour battery, or mainly want exact repetitive drills. The 39.2 lb weight is almost Proton-plus-another-Proton, and Acemate warns that the S10 is not waterproof and lacks rear or side obstacle detection.
